Alice Rodriguez, JPMorgan Chase Executive, to Join USHCC Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, Mar. 24, 2015 – The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) has announced that Alice Rodriguez, Executive Vice President and Business Banking Executive for the California Region of JPMorgan Chase, has joined the organization’s Board of Directors. With over $2.4 trillion in assets, JPMorgan Chase is the largest bank in the United States and a worldwide leader in financial services.

“The USHCC is thrilled to have Alice Rodriguez from JPMorgan Chase- one of our nation’s top small business lenders- join our Board of Directors,” said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “Year after year, Chase has continued to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to America’s business community through numerous programs and resources to support their growth. We have no doubt that Alice will bring a wealth of insight and expertise that will help guide our organization to new milestones of success.”

As the Executive Vice President and Business Banking Executive for the California Region of JPMorgan Chase, Alice oversees 600 employees, $9.5 billion in business deposits and $2 billion in business loans for clients with annual sales up to $20 million each year. Active in community and business leadership, she has been recognized by numerous organizations including Ernst & Young, the Dallas Business Journal, Northwood University, Hispanic Business Magazine, and more.

Through its annual program, Mission Main Street Grants, Chase awards millions in grants to support the growth of small businesses. In 2014, JPMorgan Chase launched a new $30 million program called Small Business Forward, that will help small businesses grow by connecting entrepreneurs to a suite of resources including networking opportunities, research partnerships with universities, workforce training, supply chains, and access to new markets.
