United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2017 Day of Service

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce National Day of Service is a day dedicated for local chambers across the country to unify volunteers in their local communities. The #ChambersGiveBack movement was built to highlight the many community relationships our chambers have with organizations serving their local communities and showcase how they give back to the communities they call home.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

This year, on December 7th, over 15 local chambers across the country have dedicated the day to serve in various projects with their staff, volunteers, and business members.

“We at the USHCC believe in giving back to the community in any way we can. Our Day of Service is a small example of the spirit of service demonstrated by our chambers every day,” said USHCC President & CEO, Javier Palomarez. “Today, we have local chamber leaders from all parts of the country coming together to serve their local communities, exemplifying how the Hispanic business community can come together to benefit communities across America.”

This year, the #ChambersGiveBack movement will be joined by the following chambers, and organizations:
