USHCC Announces Secretary Julian Castro to Keynote 2017 USHCC National Convention Gala

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) announces Julian Castro, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, will keynote its 2017 National Convention’s Closing Gala. The black-tie event is scheduled to take place the evening of October 3rd, 2017 at the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas Texas. 

“We are honored to have Secretary Castro address our National Convention’s Gala this year” said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “Throughout his time as Mayor of San Antonio and as a Cabinet official of the Obama administration, Julian Castro demonstrated a commitment to serving our country and our community. We look forward to having this distinguished Texas native with us, and to his continued leadership through public service in years to come.”

Secretary Castro said: “Latino entrepreneurs are playing a powerful and growing role in making America more prosperous in our 21st century global economy. The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is helping to lead the way, and I look forward to a great evening on October 3.

The USHCC National Convention is the largest gathering of Hispanic business leaders in America. Held from October 1-3 in Dallas, Texas, at the Omni Hotel, the Annual Convention is the country’s largest networking venue for Hispanic-owned business and Fortune 1000 corporations interested in the Hispanic market.
