USHCC Congratulates Xavier Gutierrez for Appointment to SEC Advisory Committee

WASHINGTON, DC–(Marketwired – February 29, 2016) – The USHCC commends Xavier Gutierrez, President and Chief Investment Officer of Meruelo Investment Partners, for his recent appointment to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies.
As President and Chief Investment Officer of Meruelo Investment Partners, Gutierrez oversees investments and acquisitions and is responsible for deal origination, underwriting, execution, and capital sourcing throughout the Meruelo Group platform. He also leads the strategic management of the group’s 25 affiliated companies across 10 primary industries. Meruelo Investment Partners is the investment affiliate of Meruelo Group, and makes public equity and private equity investments.
