Vice President of Communications
Reporting to the President & CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Vice President (VP) of Communications will be responsible for the development of USHCC’s communication strategy and will contribute to USHCC’s organizational strategic planning process. The VP of Communications will develop a world-class communications plan for USHCC, directly managing communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization’s brand reputation. The VP of Communications will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. The goal is to advance the organization’s position with business members and community partners, as well as to drive broader awareness and donor support for the organization. The VP of Communications will be responsible for USHCC’s varied and integrated communications products and services including: newsletters and other print publications; web, e-news and other online communications; media and public relations; and marketing.
Vice President of Corporate Relations
Reporting to the President & CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Vice President (VP) of Corporate Relations will lead the USHCC’s fundraising efforts by maintaining and growing the portfolio of business members and community partners. The VP of Corporate Relations will be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities by building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with chamber members, Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs) and major corporations through high-value programs, events, and content that align with USHCC’s mission and values, partner priorities and industry trends. The VP of Corporate Relations will also play a key role in building strong rapport with the Procurement Council Advisory Board (PCAB) and the Senior Executive Corporate Advisory Board (SECAB).
Vice President of Government Relations
Reporting to the President & CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Vice President (VP) of Government Relations will lead the USHCC’s non-partisan policy and political efforts before the United States Congress and other Agencies within the Federal Government that support the Hispanic business community and overall Hispanic population. The VP of Government Relations will be critical to guide, develop and communicate the USHCC’s annual policy platform and outline the organization’s position on access, management and control of capital, education and workforce development, health, immigration, international trade and commerce; and technology and infrastructure. The VP of Government Relations will play a key role in maintaining relationships with key Congressional offices and caucuses, business associations, political parties and USHCC chamber members ahead of the organization’s annual Legislative Summit.
